Theme || The Human Condition

"What does it mean to be a human?"
To be a human for me means being able to live and to die so that we may be reborn again into the world with a whole new life and a whole new personality. We do not hold our own lives or even the lives of others. Time shall come when it is right for us to go back from where we came from.

To be a human is to have feelings and emotion as we understand and learn the things/happenings that’s surrounding us. We need to make choices and live with them whether they are good or bad for us. Even though at some times we fall down, we also get back up and continue on as we ride the waves of our lives.

To be a human means to be not perfect.

ABOUT THE WALL:
Well, to be honest, I really had NO IDEA on what I'm going to make for this round. Particularly because the theme is WIDE. It could be anything ranging from what you believe in, the religion, some histories, fairy tales, ETC.

So then, as I brainstormed through the night, I became more and more tired of what to think that I had the waller's block for a moment. Occasionally, my eyes would close. I found that I thought of the same thing over and over. I found that I thought of the same thing over and over. I found that I thought of the same thing over and over.

I chose Valkyrie Profile as my main concept for this one because, if you ever played VP: Lenneth, you would get what I mean. The emotions and the flow of the story is just overwhelming.

And THIS is the ACTUAL screen shot that I vectored (UGH. Such a pain in the---):

The scene was taken from the prologue of the game. The place where Lucian and Platina was were "Weeping Lily Valley". The pollens of the weeping lilies are so poisonous that when you inhale them, you'll die instantly. Here, Platina was tired of not feeling any love from her parents (then she was amazed at the sight of the flowers). She inhaled some of it not knowing what they are----and it was too late for Lucian to save her anyway. As Platina died, she was reborn back again in Valhalla as a Valkyrie (Lenneth).

In the original scene, it was only Lucian that was blown-up at the side of the screen. But here, while I was browsing for more references, I found a perfect scan where Platina seems to be sleeping. So I extracted them and adjusted their lights/colors/levels. The rest was vectored from scratch particularly because it was hard when you blow up a screen shot like THAT. I couldn't really see what I was doing with it. LOL. XD
