I don't know so much about paiting tecnics, this is a very simple coloring with photoshop.

Simple, but nice. I think it would look better if you used a dark brown instead of grey for the lines.

The simplicity is nice, and I love the warm colors that you used for Dark's hair, but I really wish there was more shading on his skin (like in the scan) since the flat patch of color really stands out from his hair and shirt.
