Kunie Kanbara Wallpaper: Feeling Square

This seems to have turned out completely different from what I first imagined, lol. I kept have many difficulties with the colors, even now I'm not fully happy with them. I guess I just didn't start out with the proper colors; and, before I realized it, it was too late to change them. It was either do with what they were or scrap them.

Anyhow, I saw this scan, and I knew I could use it in a very clean-looking wall. At first, I was going to keep all the original details and colors of the render; however, I found it quite difficult to make it blend into the box that way - so, I resorted to silhouettes instead. Making the different 'girl' boxes and creating clipping masks on them with brushes was the easy part. I had the most hard time trying to fill all the negative space; I had things planned, but when I got to that point my mind went blank and certain tools weren't wanting to work correctly... D:<

So, I attempted to mix pale colors and brushes the best I could. Overall, I'm happy with the brush and text placements (I like the simplicity, myself), but those colors are a different story...
Ah well, maybe one of these days I'll update this entire wall in darker blues and such.
