Here's a wall of Vincent I made and finished just a few days ago. It was really hard for me to find a good quality screencap, but I finally managed to get one at 1600 x 1200, but I did have to clean it up quite a bit. It took me a loooong time to find a good frost/icy looking brush, I don't think I ever did. The brush set I used was actually some other texture, but it looked good, so I used it. Hopefully it's not to overdone.

I hate it when people ignore real talent. This wall is great, really nice job. The ice effect came through, but maybe it should be a lil more blue, try tightening the contrast on the bg as well.

Great editing with the screen. I like this image. Makes good wallpaper and one of the better Vincent images.

I can see that this particular screen cap would have proved to be a difficult medium to incorporate into base art. Regardless, you've done exceedingly well considering the difficulty you expressed in having. Snow and ice, like liquid, light and water effects are often difficult to compose and more often than not finding suitable brushes to assist can be equally troublesome but even so your selection, I feel, was decidedly well placed. :)
My attention was particularly drawn to the over all colour composition of this piece. Tender greys, lilac and white with slight blues certainly aid in the general frost of this work while the embellishment brushes are elegant if not a little chaotic. All in all, very nice! ^__^
