I think this is my first wall where I was satisfied with my original colors. The most that I did with changing the color at all was a photofilter and two gradient maps, which is much less than all my other walls, lol. But, considering the different aspects of this wall, that wasn't my most trouble. Originally, the entire thing was set up for everything to be the opposite direction, but that's where I had the trouble. I had the worst time with the main render (the one on the right) and trying to put it in a fitting angle - I also had a terrible time trying to make it blend with the other colors/pics. First of all, it wasn't very high quality, and it didn't have depth along with warmer tones of color. So, what I did was duplicate it three times and set it to color dodge and then lowered the visibility to what looked appropriate.
For the other pics/scans, I just cut them out and erased certain parts to make them fit in their framed spots. Then, I put their layers on color dodge to give them a softer look to make them the lesser focus - as if they were memories, and the two on the right are reminiscing as they draw and such. The text was easy to pic, but I had a hard time trying to find the right brush to use with it. I'm still not totally satisfied with it~ x/
I've never read this manga, unfortunately; however, I intend to fit it into my reading schedule eventually. If I remember correctly, the plot is about two friends who set out to the best manga creators out there, which made me come to the title of this wall. I love Obata's and Ohba's work dearly - they come up with some awesome stuff!
