Hi there.
This wall started with a different scan, where I was making a new background, then realized it didn't fit the original scan, so I kept the background and decided to use another scan. I wanted to make the sea simple, but then I found myself in the middle of creating process so I added a few more details and found this beautiful scan that I think fits quite well. I didn't want to put a mermaid there, it would to too obvious, too cliché, I believe.

What I love most about this wall is its soft colours and delicate brush strokes. The details like the schools of fish, the dolphins, the birds, and the splashes on the waves, make it come alive. The jumping fish and the faerie draws you into the fantasy-like world, and makes you want to join them. Great wrok Selennna!

I love the soft colours, which is complimented by your painting style and delicate brush strokes. I also love all the details, like the schools of fish and the dolphins in the background, it makes the wall more alive I think =)
As much as I like the faerie on the left there, I don't think he's all that necessary for this wall; he's kind of competitng with the jumping fish near the center for attention, and taking focus away from it. Maybe you want him to be the focus of attention, but I think one focus of attention is enough (either have it be the fish or the faerie, but not both)

I do think this is very beautiful piece and the concept is fantastic but execution wise....you could have done better. I am really attracted to this wall but i wouldn't make it my wallpaper. I don't like the quality of it and i also think that over all it does not deserve a highlight.
Please don't be offended by this comment I realize it may seem a bit harsh but I think what i said is true. I ask you to please not pay attention to the harshness of this comment for a bit and take is as it was meant to be, constructive criticism.
Of course, all of this is just my opinion, everyone is free to have their own opinions.
I'm not hating on it. I REALLY can see the good points of this piece. Some are truly amazing and you have very much creativity. I do appreciate that but like i said I'd like to see better quality in you execution, in your painting style as well. Everyone seems to appreciate the amount of detail on this wall, but i think detail is missing in the most important places sometimes (Like the character for starters).
I also get that many of you reading this comment may hate me for it. And that's OK because i wrote this comment because i felt i had to. I can only hope at least the artist can learn from it.

A very wonderful Wallpaper.... but i think the fairy isn't too need for this one. Yet... the colors is fantastic... Nice one
