Artist Comment
This is one of my entries for the Dual Anime wallpaper contest. I decided to take a challenge and trace a softer,
manga-styled image, and am pleased with the results. Thanks to Neaux of the WC-gumi for the idea of using the Statue of
Liberty in the background; I got the photo from this website I found off of Google image
search. I decided to go for an old faded postcard look in the image. Originally I had left Rosette and Chrno as the
original bright colors, but they stood out too much. I tried to integrate them into the postcard for a faded-photo look,
but lost the novelty of a postcard background. Thus I decided to combine the postcard background of the former with the
faded characters of the latter and ... there ya go.

Nice composition overall... the old postcard feel goes really well with the atmosphere, moreso the animes timeline. :) They look adorable together, and excellent work making them part of the post card but not at the same time... that really looks good.
