Finally back at walling after 5months. Oh it feels so nostalgic writing wallpaper descriptions. :'D This was my entry for round 1 of the AP Clash against Mysticmom2.
Interpration of the theme:
Being able to dream is a part of being human. We all escape to the dream world in our sleep. Here in this wallpaper i
wanted to picture this girl’s dream world where she is able to walk freely in the air against a fantasy dream-like
scenery, hence the title “Walking on Air”.
P.S: She is walking on air not water btw. She's up on a cliff somewhere walking off the ledge with the ocean below. The ripple effect there is a magical ripple effect and not a water ripple effect fyi. ;)
Walling process:
The background is based on this scan. At first
i thought of being lazy and just use that scan as my background. But i thought i should put in more effort than that, so
i repainted the sky and the sea with my mouse because my tablet no longer works. ;__; Then i used the trusty smudge tool
on the clouds. Once the clouds were smudged, i then extracted it and then blended it in with my painted background. Next
i took this scan and extracted it. Again i did
some blending, made those ripples and added those sparkly stuff. Lastly i applied some lighting on the wall. Tadaa~~
After 5 days with a LOT of cookie breaks in between, it was done. :D :D

It's so magical! I absolutely love it ? . I like how she looks like she's taking a step to the unknown. Your effort did some really good results 'cause that background is absolutely magnificent. And the scan from which you took the character is very well blended in. Those little shiny dots are cute and for me it feels like they'd be from some kind of spell. And the colour theme is nice and dreamy too. I think that this is a successfully done wallpaper that deserves a +fav . Thank you for sharing this and have a good day!
