This artwork is my digital coloring of an existing design of Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan and is a tribute to the dark and mysterious beauty of Hijikata Toshizou! I love him!

"In a word, the quality of raflesia's colouring is stunning. I was especially amazed by all the details on Hijikata's kimono, but when you're at last able to take your eyes of him, you see that the background is really realistic (look at those clouds... or at the cherry trees). The colors are bright, the shadings are smooth, and I got the feeling that I was standing right in front of him. It's been a while since an Indy Art give me a feeling that strong."

Wow this is absolutely amazing! I love it, the colors are fantastic! Hakuouki is my fave series right now too! Toshi looks great, everything about this is great! It's clear, its bright, the background is stunning! Wow, just wow.
