This was my entry for the awesome AP Clash of the Wallers. The theme was, as everyone already knows, 'Human Condition'.
I had a few scans in mind but in the end, this one fit to my idea the best. I wanted to create the way I see humans today: all cold, mechanic and indifferent, engrossed in technology and wires. The original scan had a cloudy sky but I chose to change it into a sunny dawn to represent that human warmth the characters lost and ultimately, hope for mankind...yep, I went all negative and gloomy on this, lol.
Thanks to all the judges who were very strict and fair and helped a lot with their constructive criticism and praises; thanks to sjade1 and flyindreams for organizing this awesome clash and last but not least, thanks to luna for being an awesome opponent and making this interesting! :3

It's very interesting to see how each of the participants to this Clash have a different interpretation of the human condition. Yours is one of those I love the most because there is a ring of truth to it. Not only you express a darker side of our humanity, but it is a kind of warning, a message for each of us. Thanks for sharing this, it's so gorgeous!

My fave amoung all the others, I absolutely love the colors you used
and the painting is just fantastic as always. Now that I'm seeing the original scan
the blue colors really give a great cold feeling, which I would've loved to see.
But I really like that you made it your own and gave it a totally different color scheme.
It's much more original and has more of you in it :3 Awesome job. -

One of the entries I really liked, but when I saw the original scan I was somewhat disappointed because it's essentially a re-painting. But that doesn't mean it's not good! It's very well made, like usual lol. And I much prefer your warm colors that fit the theme with hope much better than the cold scan. :3 HL@VW
