The bg is all painted. I tried to follow the scan's painting style and it was lots of fun working with different brushes.
I tried to follow Shinn's advice that was given on Arcanum Paradisus. And maybe it doesn't show, but it worked wonders. Thanks a bunch.
I know that some of you might not like the vectored lineart but I couldn't make it any better than that, so I hope you can forgive this.

WHEN DID THIS WALL GET HERE.
It's Ed. And he's imaginary conducting. <3I love the textured painting for the background! Though it really makes me wish Ed was done in the same style. It's a bit jarring. To me, at least. It's still a really beautiful wall, though. :)
