The bg is all painted. I tried to follow the scan's painting style and it was lots of fun working with different brushes.
I tried to follow Shinn's advice that was given on Arcanum Paradisus. And maybe it doesn't show, but it worked wonders. Thanks a bunch.
I know that some of you might not like the vectored lineart but I couldn't make it any better than that, so I hope you can forgive this.

DANGEROUS_FANBOY_MODE=OFFThe first thing that struck me was the background; it is simply amazing, and it looks just like those in Brotherhood... but in better :D. The bookshelf catched my eyes because it wasn't on OST 2 cover, but also because you did a great job with it. And Ed is handsome, and very-well painted. Thanks a lot for sharing, my FMA's fan heart is very happy!

Fine job! The work on the background is remarkable, the ligth and shadow are as correct as if it were a real picture, the piano and Elric's clothes shadowed by the back ligth are great details! Congratulations and thank you!
