So, I saw The Last Airbender... Sigh.

I've spent the past week and a half re-watching the animated show, in the hopes of purging my mind of all traces of the live action movie. Can't really complain, though. I enjoyed revisiting the series, and was inspired to do some obligatory fanart! I was planning on uploading this as a wallpaper here at MT, but I couldn't find a way to format it into a wallpaper resolution and have it still look good. So indy art it is!

Inspired by the moment in "The Crossroads of Destiny" where Zuko appears to be deciding whether or not to join the Gaang, this is my first time ever painting something in Photoshop without scanning in some lineart to work off of. It was a little scary at first, but I really like how Zuko's face turned out. His hair, on the other hand, annoys me. I might go back and fix it sometime later (read: probably never), but for now, that's how it's gonna be.

I'd say this took about 15 hours, spread out over 3 afternoons. Hope you guys like it!
