i just think the perspective of the floor is a little off, but it's still a nice wall.

Ah, with the end of the Fullmetal Alchemist TV show, I definitely felt I needed to add another wallpaper to that section---it's too good a show to be ignored ^^ So, for this one I wanted it to be like, going for a night out on the town kind of look, since they're all dressed up (I actually changed Hughes' clothing. And Roy in the back even looks like he's checking Hawkeye out! ;D
This background was made entirely from scratch. I did the painting for most of the background (except the train) in
OpenCanvas. I used Photoshop for the train. Even the characters took a ton of time preparing, Hawkeye was scanned from
an 8 panel poster, and Roy and Hughes had no legs to start out---it's on minitokyo if you're curious: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/8412/

While a normal wallpaper gets killed, if the bg has a different style than the character picture, this one seems to live from this kind of difference.
The character pictures (which look so vectored, that they seem already flat), the (slightly crooked) floor, the pillars, the train and the text have all different styles (especially concerning the degree of realism); but the wallpaper still works.
Good work once again, but not as usual; the wallpaper is too unusual to use that phrase. -

Hum, this looks a lot like a wallpaper I saw on Animeonline (lol). Taking the time to comment it again because I think it's just so cool. You took a lot of time and effort to make the backround. And thank you for changing Hughe's clothing cuz the orignals looked kinda silly....My favorite part is the Central on the train in the backround, I thought it was a nice little touch.
