Oh, gawd....kill me, lawl~ XD My hand feels like it's going to fall off after doing all those little portraits. Even still with all the time I put into them, not all of them are straight. D;
This wall was pretty fun to do though. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Through arranging the floral patterns, filling in the lines properly, positioning the brushes, resizing the
portrait-sized pictures, cutting out the D.Gray-man text and putting it into the right place, and adding color to it ---
I spent more than a couple hours on it for sure! I think it's longest I ever done on a wallpaper. It took me a
while to decide on what colors I wanted exactly. Even though I mainly focused on darker colors, I pretty much touched
things up with gradients and photofilters at the end. I left the smaller pictures' colors stand out, because I
think it adds to the wall overall, and it makes them more noticeable.
The M-A-N-A text near the smaller pictures spells out - Mana - obviously. Since my main focus was Allen-kun, I figured Mana was rather an important element to him. The 'D.gray-man' text was actually a cutout of a different scan, as I said above. I got it to blend the way it did by mere luck and experimentation, lul~ XD
I chose 'Remembrance' as the title because of how Allen-kun is looking up with a distant expression. To me, it appeared like he was thinking back on something. Also, the smaller pictures of the group of characters further supports that theme.
