Personally I have nothing against Orihime, but she's a Mary Sue. Of course though her fans are still free to like her.
What makes her a Mary Sue is the combination of...
*Being considerably attractive; having an unrealistic figure for a teenager, what with being busty and curvaceous with all the curves in the right places, all the while being pretty much incapable of gaining weight, despite her eating habits.
*Having powers so outstanding and special that they almost seem out of place in the series.
*Being "pure and innocent" with the apparent incapability of doing wrong.
*Displaying almost limitless compassion and kindness towards anyone, even if they're her enemies. -
