This background is kind of checkerboard patterned because I like that pattern ^_^ I wanted it in grunge style so I messed up the checkerboard and added a large splatter-ish spot on the other side. I got the image from animepaper (scan) and added a black border and turned it a bit & layered that on the BG. I used a bunch of brushes - music notes, film strips, hearts & more! I added the roses (changed their color from pink to dark red) and the cute little phrase last. Hope you all like it ^_^

Is the image a vector or just a scan? If it's a vector, did you get permission from the artist to use it or did you vector it yourself?
