Artist Comment
My original plan for this wallpaper was to simply take this image and resize it in an aesthetically pleasing manner to fit my desktop. SIX HOURS LATER, I end up with what you see above. There's something wrong with me, I'm sure of it now. I can never do things the easy way... This is adorning the desktop of the Linux partition on my laptop at the moment, which is further proof that I'm losing it because I never publicly share wallpapers that I'm currently using (just in case I end up hating them in the end - the interweb doesn't need to see stuff I hate, IMO).
Oh, fun fact: This was a personal challenge to use only resources that I created. I almost succeeded. Splatter brushes from the wonderful c130.
