Hello!
First of all, Happy Birthday to FiiFO! This wall is for you. :)
I finished making this wall mid-April and it took about one week to make.
The original image comes from a screencap from Nodame Cantabile Finale:
With Nodame so up close, I didn't want her skin to have just a few shades of color as a standard vector might so I spent quite a bit of time with her. Chiaki wanted to be in the wall as well, so he got to be in the background (even though they'd usually be playing side by side).
Everything is vectored aside from the slight texture applied and the circle shapes I created to try and imitate what is used in the show. If some may prefer a simpler version without the circles, a 1920x1200rez copy is provided as an alternate above.
Lastly, as I will try to do with all my walls, here's a gif of the wall progress:
