Hi There!
This is the first Wallpaper of my new Vector Series. I actually decided not to start a new one but I need motivation to
vector again. So what's the new Series about? One day, when I browsed through my Wallpapers I thought "ugly,
ugly, ugly.." and I was about to delete them. However my sister said, I could redo them. So I redid the
"Wishing You Were Here" Wallpaper. Howver since remakes never are the same like the original, I used another
technique- the almost vexel style XD
Firstly, I vectored the Aya and the Little Angel doll. And I became too lazy to vector the wings from the original Scan.
Just like two years ago when I made the original wallpaper. So I searched for a nice Feather Scan and choosed the first
one I found. I almost-vexeled three feathers and duplicated them, changing size and angle. What else? Did a quick
background with a lot of selfmade textures and added a texture on top of everything. FINISHED!
It took a lot of time to make this wallpaper although you may not believe that. You should believe that! Well, I am
wondering which version do you prefer.. (and if it is okay to upload the wallpaper as a new one o.O)...

Really interesting style! I like the way you combined the multi-layer shading with the texture, and it's still simple and stylized. I love the doll, it's adorable. Good work, I like the addition of the feathers, they fit well.

i love the texture and your vexelling has gotten alot better. while i like the background, i think it needs to be darker, and have sharper shapes + edges. also deeper texturing in the bg will help your vector stand out.
a few minor details: sharpen your texture a bit more to give it a less faded quality. the light that is illuminating her should also be illuminating her chin, with darker shadows around the eyes. her highlights could use to be a tad more yellow and her eye lashes + feathers could benefit from some added strands and sharper lines.

Very nice. I like the colors you used and I think it's a great improvement from your previous version. :)
I think her eyelashes and feathers could use some more detail though. And I agree with vitaa about making the bg darker (especially near the top), and the lighting stronger. But good improvement! HL @ VWs! -
