Artist Comment
This is another fan art from me , but this time in color (I don't intend to do it in color since I don't have a proper media for color ..... other than paints) . It's Suigintou from the series 'Rozen Maiden' (My favorite -desu) . Fan Art is not my forte still (since I'm the kind who is very meticulous when it comes to details of what I'm drawing) , so feel free to leave a critique , especially on what details of the character that I did wrong or missed out .
Info about this one :
- My first traditional colored artwork of mine . The last one I did was 6-7 years ago . Also , it's the first
traditional media in color , portrait art I've did so far .
- I implement some of the techniques I've learned/used when I did my previous B & W traditional media artwork
to this one . But due to certain blocks of my chosen media , I did some changes to the current technique as well .
- Further alteration of my art style from the typical anime style art you see in most animes or mangas .
- Simple background , for a reason (or two) .
Details :
-A fan art of mine from a pre-existing manga/anime (See above as to where I drew this one from)
-Done in A4 size paper (Vertically)
-Did it with Staedler Luna Color Pencils + eraser and ruler
-Did some tweaking & touch ups with Photoshop & GIMP (Scanner skewed up the color value a lot)
-No smudging
-Done in about a month+ (on & off)
