My entry for MT Knockout round 2. I still can't believe I won >__<
The theme was "I love you". I didn't want to just make it guy x girl wall, 'cause I thought that's what the judges expect. Plus, I'm still currently obsessed with Ace Attorney, and want to make a wall for it. Maya is always talking about burgers and how much she loves them (she says she has a separate stomach for them XD), so I thought, why not make a Maya x Burger (my OTCP atm XD) wall!

can't even see it (covered by the fries)... *sigh*

I tried something different for the shading this time. I called this "Professor Layton shading", haha. I can't cellshade, and wanted to keep it kinda cartoony, so I didn't want to paint it either. So instead, I shaded everything with gradients. Turned out okay I think. Everything in this is vectored, including the bubbles; I had thought of blurring them, but then decided against it to keep it sharp to match everything else.
I put it on an angle mostly to fit the widescreen format, and so I didn't have to cut off her signature top-knot. And it makes it more fun anyway. At first I was gonna do a proper background setting it in Phoenix's office, but then I got lazy, and didn't want to make it too busy anyway. Somehow I got the idea for shoujo bubbles to show her pure bliss XD
