Askjasdkjd~! *needs to get this thing off of her computer* @___@;

This is like...the wallpaper that called for a lot of detailed photo manipulation and lots of fidgeting. As usual, no vector-stuffs or non-default Photoshop brushes were used. *fails* XD This was pretty-much me going around with standard round brushes, masks and selection tools, shifting and re-drawing the heck out of things until they looked realistic enough for my liking.

I wanted to make something that felt scrapbook-e. Almost as if someone'd gone and scribbled on a bunch of sheets of paper, dumped out some photographs, and found an old ticket. Just a whole pile of mementos of an event. From there I found this lovely Czeslaw and Maizer scan, and decided to go with Czeslaw's journey aboard The Flying Pussyfoot. Since he's obviously one of the characters that got the s**t scared out of him on-board the train, I decided to present all the pieces as if they relate to cherished memories. *is awful* XD This includes re-drawing the scan of Claire and the passengers to make Claire fully smiling instead of just looking all nice and helpful. Another one of those things that could pass for a well-loved reminder of a friend until you realise that Claire is the main reason Czeslaw's experience aboard The Flying Pussyfoot was so friggin' terrifying (something tells me the kid didn't mind his run-in with Ladd terribly 0__o;; ).

So, uh... yeah. Lots of oldness here. The paper texture is from Bashcorpo. The ticket is something I hand-drew. The ticket's font is called 'Old Stamper.' The other (really faint) text is just my handwriting. XD I wanted something more organic than what I was finding that fonts could provide, and my handwriting's pretty oldschool, so, I figured, why the heck not. *laughs* The result is as you see.

Two scans were used in this:
Baccano!: DVD 4 cover 2, and Baccano!: The Grand Punk Railroad 005, both scanned by the fabulous Imiko-chan.

Lastly, this wallpaper has a second version without the written text. It's a bit off from the aim, but may be nice for anyone with a tendency to have loads of items on their desktop. *laughs*
Memento: double-take

Enjoy~ ^__^
