Ok, my last wallpaper, nothing special though, just a simple wall ^_^.
Opinions and suggestions are welcomed ^_^
Edit: now to explain the world simple: I've just edited a bit the bg, there are actually only 3 layers, each has a bit different brush/artistic filter, I've played a bit with the shadows. Then I add some watter swirls, some leaves, some treas and colored it in blue monoton.

Oh wow.... you have actually done justice to this source image of Lain with the way you have used it. I believe this is the best use of this image that I have ever seen... and I have seen a 'good' number of SE Lain walls. Then again, maybe I've never seen the background to that image of Lain, but I could have swore that was not the background. . though I may be very wrong. If its not the original background where did you come up with it. (Well you don't need to say, but I think it was a great idea.)
Anyway, this blends with the background, color and texture very well. Even with the small number of layers, I want to reassure you that the concept is wonderful. And as candy-chan pointed out I do believe I remember it being 'this', though that does not really take much away from the wall itself. ^_^; One thing to pay attention to is the lighting of the source image, the background, and their arrangement. In this case placing Lin in that position made perfect sense, though I believe the lighting is a bit backward. Its not something big, and not really noticeable , but I just wanted to point it out for future reference. Even if you did not change much in terms of the image (and if that’s not the original background) (which I still don't remember ever seeing that as the background, but her.. ok never mind I'm positive she was leaning on a railing in the original image. Sorry, my bad. ^_^; So, your choice of images and arrangement of the composition are great. I have not seen any of your other work, but the design alone takes the cookie with this piece of your work.

The background is too buisy...it really doesn't allow me to focus on anything, especially the figure. But i love the way you played with the text. And sinc ei love blue, i'd say it's a good wallie ! :)

The different shades of blue is what makes this wallpaper great IMO. And that's a really great image of Lain. The background looks marvelous.
