Quote by k1ruI can no longer keep up with any walling techniques, and I kinda missed the days where vectors are simply vector, without trying too hard to make it looks like digital painting- erm no, don't misunderstood me. I think that's a really great thing. Maybe I'm just being weird (as always).
i would agree that although i prefer vectoring since it alludes to a modicum of "work" the whole push towards these hyper-detailed vectors is a little disconcerting. i have always believed the style should fit the scan and the objective of the wall. so i am usually immune towards these "painterly" styled vectors that whilst technically proficient are attached to walls that are aesthetically mediocre.
i have always appreciated your walls and your style. i wouldn't worry too much about the current state of digital desktop design and just keep doing your "thing" as long as you wish too.
love the wall. i think a liberal use of gaussian blur at .2% would have helped some of the black slightly jagged edges around Mokona's ear there.
btw- be sure to update the "in my head" wall on your site in widescreen.
