Didn't want to take on the whole scan...thought it was better
to focus on his face so I vectored, multi-shaded and began to work on something scenic.
The original idea was to surround him in ice and create a fridget-battle type look, however
the idea fell short and suddenly I came to a more nerve-abstract look.

I love the way you colored him and the colors of the BG also look nice. Somehow I think you could've chosen a different font for his name but it's okay. Nice work! :)
