Artist Comment
Originally a Scan from (of course) Minitokyo. Was a soundtrack cover, I believe. Either way, as most projects start I needed new wallpaper :D
I extracted Touka (my favorite character from Utawarerumono) from the scan, redid all the line work by hand, then took some liberties in repainting it to a color scheme to match my desktop layout (sorry purists! forgive me!). Who's to say she doesn't have a dark jacket in the closet somewhere.. She might need to go *STEALTH MODE* from time to time :P. The background is a heavily redone screen cap from the series. (the original was far less than suitable quality, so I repainted the scene using it as a template. I suck at rocks though, I've come to realize that)

PS. Windows 7 users - if your using it as a desktop, apply it as wallpaper from within your browser to avoid the horrid
on the fly re-compression W7 does to wallpapers!
