...WHY ?!? WHY THIS KIND OF INSPIRATION DOESNT COME WHEN I NEED IT ?!?!?
This is from the new bleach opening, SPOILER, i mean, CHANGE...finally NO MORE FILLERS, but instead is a opening with so many spoilers. Lillynette Gingerback with Starrk scene was so cool, that i want to do a vector of her.
A few screenshot from the Opening, then vector with Illustrator, doesnt use forms cause the outline look terrible with it, i've rather stick with a more clean look with the lines, then, comes the funny part on Photoshop, actually, never tried to do any kind of coloring, so this wall was just made of pure guts, without any tutorials or experience, so, DON'T be gentle, you can name all the flaws, and any ways to improve.
Anyway, after, 3 hours, a lot of layers ( most of them melt to improve load times cause at one time my PC almost DIE ) this is the result, maybe i'll try to change some of the adjustment layers cause im not too sure about them, but anyway, this is the 'final' result, hope you like it.

HMM.
The colouring feels flat in places, namely her hair. When going for a shade, it's better to use a less saturated version of the colour than a grey/black thing. Same goes for white.
Also, chunkier lineart may have looked poor, but I would have at least gone with a bit more width/variation than that, it's a little too uniform for everything else in the wall. Or, maybe not gone for it at all/used a textured brush when stroking since it was Illustrator. She kind of sticks out from the bg.
I do like the feel you were going for with the bg though, I think it would have worked well if there was just a better tie in.
