tried somethin weird this time, i recently learned a couple of abstract tricks people graciously provided tutorials for, hence the new kind of bg im using.
Usually, brushing on anything besides a white canvas is a criminal act to me. But you i figure i had to expand to get better, hmmm grunging on abstract bgs isnt somethingi tried before, ive seen it done really well and it looks very nice, argh but this was frusterating cuz it was so alien to me. See look at me im rambling, what was i gonna say......yeah the problem was making everything blend together, i spent more time on how i would belnd things together more than i did brushing or rendering the bg, oh well, im gonna try this stlye again some other time.

wow... very, very professional... Loved your bg to death!!! And with the musical pieces blending in it.. wow.. it really gives you the impression of something elegant, sophisticated yet very distant. Although part of the scan just doesn't really jive in with the whole picture. the bg is very, very 3d and yet the scan is well, 2d.. it kind of draws your eyes away from the beautiful bg.. although the image itself fits the whole concept, it's just that the quality of the scan is a bit poor. But then again, this is just my opinion.. ^u^
the BG is defnintely something new and cool.....a blend of CG to grunge.......it looks amazing =^.^=
the character on the other hand...well.....lets just say this scan don't really fit
but u did an excellent job on the bg....<3 it!
