Inspired by Insomnia (© Craig David/Wheesung)

Can't sleep one day and this is the result. It's not an assignment of balance, so don't expect me to fix this. Done with SAI and CS2 approximately 1 hour (minus browsing and doing this and that).

Like the rough texture and the colors. Very insomniac-looking indeed.
Great to have this hanging on a wall.
Keep up the good work. :)

    This really caught my eye!
I like the distinction between male and female by using hints at hair length. Especially the female's long hair as suggested by darker red down the body. The white/sandy texture at the top of her head perhaps doesn't blend as well into the tan background/wall as her male counterpart's does. I think that if her hair was a darker grayish color it wouldn't seem as rough (texture wise) against the rest of the work too. I do really like the bright blue diamond/window between the two figures. That really stands out from the red and brown and doesn't attract my eye away from the figures. Nice touch!
And maybe it's me thinking too much, but I assume that the "cracked" part between these two figures is just supposed to be a crack. But I can totally see two sets of lips kissing right there (nearer to the bottom). If that's on purpose - kudos to you! And if it's my interpretation - kudos to me! ;) lol Nah, I'm just kidding. I like it when people see different things in the same work. Gives it more depth. Sweet pic! Thanks for sharing!
