Kannazuki no Miko: Miss Kurusugawa and Chikane an accidental embrace

Kaishaku, Kannazuki no Miko, Himeko Kurusugawa, Chikane Himemiya
Kaishaku Mangaka Kannazuki no Miko Series Himeko Kurusugawa Character Chikane Himemiya Character

8965x5941

This was an attempt at a larger clearer version than the previous version that was available.
This was scanned in at 1200 DPI and after some cleaning of junk at that level, I reduced it to the 800 DPI I've uploaded it at.
From inside 2nd cover.

Sorry to say but your previous scans are better than the current.
Guest scan the image in 600dpi, now looks much worse than the currently available version:]. Scan is full of artifacts. At 600dpi, and so will be larger (since the older version) and a better quality than what now added.

As I mentioned in private conversation, I had not smoothed it as much and reduced the scanning / printing damage as much as I would have liked as I have been requested to do this by moderators who felt my scans weren't looking enough like pixelated prints at full view.

I tried to explain that at full view, if what you see is simply better views of the print's pixels, then you are not seeing the artwork that the print is, itself, a poor facsimile of. In doing a larger resolution scan, it pays, in my mind to take time to do hand touch up of the lines and tones where possible.

Nevertheless, as per *your* mentions (in private), this time, I've uploaded an update that looks about 120% better.

p.s. My version doesn't have the discoloration stripe down the center.

That's not due to having a better source, as mine started with that strip as well.

    What a pain.
