Yeah so I thought this pic would make a good wall so I made one... I dunno it's remeniscent of a lot of other walls out there, I know, but still it was made pretty much to see how well I could pull off a few techniques. Anyway, I had to re-cg the top of the foreground character's head by using the top of the other characters head. Also had to re-cg part of the arm and leg of the foreground character. Turned out good, I think. Pleased overall.

One person I know said they heard they were boys from some source but also as I recall right from hearing about the series, only the girls have tails and these two have them which would mean they should be girls then.

Nope, the guys have tails as well, most of them just cover them up. Episode 7, around the 9 minute mark, shows a couple of men with tails.
Plus, its been proven they are boys, in the game Dorri even said, and I quote: "Hai, otoko desu kedo" which basically translates to "Yes, although I am a boy."
Dorri and Gurra are just the Haku's (you know, the girly guy from naruto) of Utawarerumono.
