This was made when my brother decided to inform me that one possible reading of the kanji for future meant "the coming of the end." He seemed to think it was appropriate for my out view on life. We both followed and read the Get Backers manga, which gave birth to the wallpaper. It's a few years old, since the inspiration for the quote can be found in the end of Kingdom Hearts II, Gundam SEED: Destiny, and a couple of brothers messing around with the English language while chatting over AIM.
