Hi girls & boys
Story stuff:
CloudGer (an AP member) asked me some explanations on gradient use in Inkscape. I used this scan to taught him the ease of use of the
gradient tool which implies some tricks. Partial vector of it was done for this purpose and since I was bored, I did the
rest of the scan. A whimsical wallpaper ^^
Technical stuff:
Wallpaper done with Inkscape, a free and open source vector-based image software ^^ Give it a try for your vector works
and live in a bliss.
The resulting SVG is a little under 1MB which is not much. Exported in 3 ratios for your screen pleasure.
No fancy vector-based techniques used in this one.
The background is redone from scratch using some perspective skills I read in a book. It was instructive ^^
I extended the scan a little on the bottom side to have the full pinky finger.
