alright back to business! vector was done from this scan was kinda easy tried colored lines...YES THEY ARE COLORED DARK BLUE FOR KIMONOS! it just looks like black because for the light and
blending! (to anwser tofus qustion)

i changed the kimonos because it looked so boring hehehe arent they beautiful? i mean both boys and kimonos xD!
ah and i added a few more shadows, it looks much better this way :D

well yea vectored the photo and changed as i wanted...hope you like
also because it was kinda empty i added a kotatsu..mhh i want to have one! thanks pulver for findingTHIS SCAN for me :3 *hugs* and for

after that was done i needed something so that it wouldn't look empty took this candle click
then added texture and shadows VOILA it was done! i cant believe the bg took me just a few hours, unlike the other
times...thats sure due to the deadline time limit..i really was late already phew!
ok i might add some petals but i dunno if i manage so...yea we'll see xD

:Dexcept one thing: I don't like the table in the back.. somehow it doesn't seem to fit the rest of the image. Maybe (definitely, in most regards) I'm just nuts. Maybe if the outlines on the cloth were a color other than black, especially since nothing else has black outlines?

i really enjoy the colors on this, you've really gotten the hang of night time colors like no one else. the vector is clean and i think people arent noticing how fast you are progressing with you technique! this is really a great example of how simple vectoring can look sophisticated in the right hands.
my only complaint is the airbrushing in the background, flat objects are difficult to shade, but try using diagonal gradients rather than shading on the edges. shading on the edges creates the illusion that they are cushions or something >3
