Guess I was one of the few (2?) people who have seen this in progress, was already amazed how detailed the vexel was on
that early version, and how much different from your previous works, though I can assume that was no quite easy to do.
(hope to see some old fashioned ones later too)
The current version looks quite better as the first monochrome one, even when that had his own magic, especially after
my touch up on that (hahaha), the most noticable change is the background, of course to a better one. Extra points for
the hair, looks really amazing!
In overall this wall is really well done, without any noticable flaws on it. Maybe is not for highlight, but definitely
something pretty for your comeback and to be proud of it.

Holy Moly... i never thought id see the submit button ever again... so im in a state of shock while typing this description.
Anyway HIYA! Been over a year since my last solo wall and almost exactly 3 years since my 1st ever wallpaper... and here i am with number 11 (12).. "RESTRICTED SOLITUDE".
This wall was an absolute pain in the ass to make... really. I nearly killed myself several times throughout this horrible ordeal which comprised of a month and a week. Technically i started this wall about 2 years ago but didnt do hardly anything to it and ultimately abandoned it. But late last year i started a Code Geass wall and i probarbly scored the worst luck ever. Right as i was adding finishing touches after early a months work, my hard drive went on me and deleted everything on it INCLUDING the wall so i was quite pissed off with that result but luckily i was inspired enough to try something new and saw the old Higurashi wall sitting there rotting so i thought i might as well start on it again. So i totally redesigned it all and went all out on a more detailed and different style vector to anything i have ever tried before. Anyway about the wall....
It might not look it but there are approximately 1923 layers in this wall. Yes i stupidly counted them all and yes it
was a pain in the ass big time. These layers consists of ALOT of shape layers. (Layer 1671 being the last shape layer
made) The rest of it comprised of regular layers for effects and brushes and gradients and patterns also.
I decided to go abstract with this, because i like to be original nowadays. I don't like copying straight from a
scan and using same themes as i feel its kinda like cheating. But i figured id set the 2 girls up in a solitary type
state and use alot of abstraction throughout the background that would blend in nicely. This also included the
modification of ALOT of colors on the scan and the background. Since my favorite colors are blue and purple, i figured
that it would be suitable to use these colors. Anyway after alot of hard work and solid effort, it all finally came
together and im really happy with my work.
I began this wall on January 10th and worked almost every single day on it. Some sessions i worked for 9-10 hours
straight. Never did i imagine id have determination to finish a wall like i did with this one. And with me working all
the time (in real life) and consuming my strength and willpower, it was certainly hard to get anything done.
Anyway, id like to mention a few important names....
Firstly id like to send a super thanks to my best AP friends akiranyo & alenas They were the main inspirations to
finish this wall and without their help i would've failed in pure destruction. You guys are the best. < 3
Also, id like to mention kitten who's birthday was back in November 16th. (Yes, i remembered XD) My original
crashed wall was intended for her b'day but sadly my hard drive had other plans (really sorry) so id like to extend
a (very) shout to her also. ^^
Also to all my other friends here, you guys are the best!
Lastly, id like to apologize to the AP community, especially my friends for being a really lazy ass in the last year but hopefully ill get back into the swing of walling again.

wow so many layers? are you sure you couldn't just combine the similar shades together? o_o" idk well I've yet to try this kind of technique that I noticed has been going on with a lot of people's wallpaper...
anyways that's a really nice purple combo and tint. the background is kind of plain to me a little

Yay finally a new Brad wall ^^!My my, that's quite the book you wrote there in the Soapbox. I like that though, I usually do the same. A killer hard drive huh? Happened to me too T_T It's pretty impressive that you found the will power to start over again though (I didn't, shame on me)
Now about the wall itself: I love the colors ^^, and technique-wise it's as clean as a whistle. As for the layer count, I think you even beat me on that one. Figured I already went overboard on the layer count on my PH wall.
Oh, and I'm usually not a fan of typography in a wall, but on rare occasions I am. This is one of those times XD.
Please give us more walls like this will you?! Ne? Pretty please :3 ?

Holy Shit, your description is really long but I read it ^^
I feel sorry for you loosing the Code Geass wallpaper just before finishing but I guess this wonderful wallpaper makes you feel a lot better.
1923 layers? God that would have killed me but the outcome is amazing.I really love your vector style cause it's always flawless and full of details.
The thing which really caught my attraction are the eyes. The look so cool and they are very good done. Love also the style of the background. Not only the colors are amazing but everything works so nice together. It's a wonderful tone in tone work with not a single bit to much.I also love the text in the wallpaper cause it works fine with the rest of the wall. It's not standing out to much and the place and design are a good choice for it.
Overall, a wonderful done wallpaper and one of my favs from yours.
Everything is absoluty perfect done and works perfect together.

Thought about doing this wall myself but lazy got the better of me...
I'm very happy to see someone walled it, very nice scan choice.I really loved how you made their eyes before, I think you should've
kept it cause it shined more and grabbed attention. Along with a color
boost since it's look really depressing atm, needs more contrast and saturation
so it gets a deep blend of the colors together and it can center more on Rena & Rika.Nice touch with the textures and different hair colors, it's really
pretty.
What a lovely gift, I really love it and thank you so much for it
and all the hardwork you did <3 Doesn't look like it's in my desktop size but I'll
