I like the scan you used, and some of the color you used.
Though I think the background is to busy with to many things going on with brushes and text and so close together. I would take some out and leave a few.
Also your main text with the double text behind it makes it harder to read gives it a blurry look to it. I would suggest
if you really want to use a double text behind one another to put it closer together and the text behind the front one
should be in more contrasting colors to make it stand out and give it that effect I think you were going for.
