It's a very old project I found while "cleaning up" my folders. I started from scratch thou since I
wasn't using vector masks then.

I re-did the left part many times with different designs. got tired of that and stuck with this one. I thought the smoke
might be too much but without it is so empty. I got the smoke from a xxxholic scan I can't damn find(my mind is a
mess after re-arranging all my folders, dunno what where I put xD). Would link it once it do.
I tried to give a golden look on the kimono flower outlines, gosh I spent so much time on that, re-did it so many times
and I still feel like I failed.
Oh, I left the birds shadeless on purpose. I like them this way.
A huge Thank you! goes to Melfina, Trofi and Kara, for listening to me whine and giving me good pointers<3
I feel like I'm forgetting something but that's about it.

Lovely vector. I love all the flowers and the Shouji door. Love the sparkles on the Peonies. The skins look nice. As for the composition, I feel the shouji and the girl are in different worlds... maybe because the hair is too detailed and the shouji is shadeless. And another thing, I was hoping the girl had black hair...
I'm amazed on how much you put effort in vectoring all the flowers and the hair has so many details. Good Job.

I really like that candle looking thing in the original scan, wish you had added that.
I don't really have much of a big critic, other than the door could use
a nice gradient to give it more depth and realisim...I didn't see it till now.
Other than that, you did a fantastic job. -

i really enjoy the colors on this, they are vibrant without going off into the deep end. i know you said you purposefully left the birds unshaded which is ok, but i still feel like that whole side of the wall is flat compared to the other side. i think some texturing on the walls in general would give them the depth they need to match the girl, or maybe if you had made the girl herself look flatter.

Oh my gosh I just love this. The scans you choose to vector were so pretty and artistic im like wow O.O. And I love how you did her hair and eyes and the flower in her hair is just so pretty and the pattern on the wall I just love it. This is so creative and your just so talented..*smiles*.

nice choice in colors....looks so pretty and the way u gave those shades really fantastic..i love the most on her hair and on the water lilies...plus sparkling glitter u added make the girl looks prettier and contrast compare to another staffs ..(maybe because of her cloth and hair colors too)
and nice to see u finally make a not abstract wall with more background..:3 -

First thing I noticed : her hair O____O
you really know how to use tablet :DD you made her hair looks VERY realistic and detailed by painting strands to strands.
all of the patterns must have been a pain to vector. They look so amazingly detailed and colorful. Her eyes and lip are so pretty <333 btw my bangs look like hers loleverything's pretty, tina-chan ^^
