After a long time, about two months (was it?), here I am with a new digital painting! xD It's been long enough that there's been some great news while I was away busying myself shooting Boomers and spitting acid goo at Survivors piled up on a ladder. I won't make much of it but I'm proud of what I earned - a DD in DeviantART! :U
I'm so happy I received such a prestigious honor. While I do have some doubts on whether I trully deserve it, I cherish it as a landmark that speaks for how far I've gone, which is what matters most to me besides being able to insta-kill my brother with a Charger on The Parish finale. Despite that however, there's still a long, long way to go but this DD serves as encouragement and thus this is one of my responses to it. xD Like the say, rewards come at the time you least needed it, especially with all the bile canisters and unbreakable giant muscular zombie men who can punch your team off a skyscraper.
Now this scene was fairly impromptu, making whatever came out of my mind out of my newfound motivations. Apart from it being a fantasy world, with all the tall towers and flying islands and ships - it's also got an entire planet, a small one, sealed beneathe glass. How they were able to do that and for what purpose, I leave it to you guys to imagine. ;)
That aside, all I can say is that I'd like to do more in the future - with bigger and better things. And I'm sure everyone of us will follow as well when that day comes our toil earns its rewards, if it hasn't already for some of us. Now since that's over for now, I leave you guys to ponder about what the crap is going on down here below: XD

Hehe, I'm glad you were able to get it uploaded GTD! It looks like a gingerbread city... mmmm. Or one of those carved wood sculptures.
Love how crisp and clean the lines are. I'm not a huge fan of the tree in the foreground... I feel like the trunk could be a little more detailed and the top part a little bit fuller. But overall, nice job.

Wow, this is so wicked. I love the details on the houses, and the little planters with trees in them. And the flying machines...they're part plane, part dragon, part insect...overall, it's just awesome.

Are they themselves encased in glass ? Well, metaphysical rambling aside, great piece, i love the perspective and the
contrast between the cramped city and the open sky with its elegant flying vessels !
Though i have to agree with firefly about the tree, the trunk does seem a bit 'blurry'.
Anyway, thumbs up and an automatic fav ^_^
