Hello everybody :D
This is my second Vector Art. I took Kanda out of a scan, that I had found on this page (thanks to angelpup 1419 btw for sharing) and worked on it. In the right corner, there's the tattoo or mark or whatever, which can be found on his chest. I added a shadow and some background color. (yeah, I know, pretty simple xD)
There were some parts, that sometimes made it a little bit difficult for me, because I'm still new at this:
First of all, there were several parts covered by another character, so I had to create them on my own: I'm pretty
happy, that it was just the belt an the coat xD
The second problem was, that the flowera, which usually are shown on the buttons, weren't shown very vell on the
original scan, so I had to create them myself as well, because otherwise it didn't look nice.
Another problem were the lines in the original scan: They weren't of the same thickness everywhere, and concerning
the darker parts of the picture (which are quite a lot) they were pretty hard to see or even invisible. So this was
sometimes a bit hard as well.
And the last one: The scan went over two pages, so the middle was a quite dizzy.
But in the end, I hope that it turned out to be good enough for you xD
I can't really say, how much time I needed, because at the moment I have to study a lot, and so I just do this Vector-thingy when I have some rare free time, which is usually in the evenigs for 20 minutes or -when I'm lucky- for an hour. But I started three weeks ago I think.
I needed so many layers, that I'm too ashamed to admit the concrete number xD I'm still too chaotic - although this time I tried this whole "name-the-layers-and-put-them-in-layer-sets(...) :D
I used good old photoshop 7.0.
Well, what's left to say? I'm grateful for any kind of help for improvement and - of course - I'm happy,
if somebody might like it :D

Nice work! I miss my old PS7... The more they change the less I like... I barely got used to CS3 they already released a new one... What the hell I'm talking about?
