I like how you did your text and the idea of the wall. But if I could give you some friendly advise I would say I would take off the overlay brushes you have on the scans of them because it looks out of place and distracts you from them the main focus. I would also take off or tone down on the brushes you have on top of the scan of them it makes it look bad quality.

I was upset at the lack of Haruhi wallpapers with the guys only and fell in love with this picture.
Made on GIMP 2.0. I fiddled around for hours removing the text before scrapping a whole section of the image so in total this took 2 and a half hours ish. Ish. Probably more.
