Put on your reading glasses kitties, it's time to read a big novel.
First:This is for Saku (Sakura-Dust) and second I would also like to enter it
into the VW's resolution contest. Resolution is to detail more, make more originals
and become a master at background work >3

I can't remember where I got them from...the name is on the tip of my tongue...
Well, now that my shoutouts are done lets move on the the journey part.
I started this wall last year in Sept, it was suppose to be Saku's b-day present but well
inspiration ran out of me and I left it alone. About a week ago this year I picked it up again and set out
to finish it. I spent a week, not counting last year on this...also I worked basically all day on it, even nights XD
So yea, alot of cuss words and snacks later this was born...I started with a sketch as I do with most of my original
walls.
I remembered to save some to show:

and the original idea.
I wanted to make it a really romantic/dramatic scene, sorta like a Romeo & Juliet themed wall.
I had alot of problems constructing her body, for the simple fact that I didn't know how I should position her.
She ended up looking in this arched position so save me the complaints about her structure, she's not lying
straight
so it's allowed to look weird XD She's in a very almost sit up position, and I didn't want to do just the
normal coffin deal cause
well she's not dead, she's sleeping. So I made my own twist on a coffin looking bed. I had problems making it
and I must've lined
it over and over again about 3 or 5 times. I fixed alot of the perspective cause before it made absolutely no
sense.
I was going to have the light coming through on the top left corner but well I ended up
making the bed and then figured the light would have to now be on Ciel's side. Also I really thought
I'd have more space...but apparently there was only room for a window (half window) and Cie's ass ate the
rest.
I really enjoyed doing the girl's hair, best looking part to me actually. I had to reshade Ciel alot
to match her detail. And the colors came naturally, didn't have much of a problem thinking of dead dark colors to
use.
I shaded/re-lined/repositioned everything to death basically and I have to say it was one of the hardest
walls I've ever done. 260 layers, new record for me~ w00t. Thought my PS was going to die, I wanted to jump out
the window with it multiple times during this.
Anyways, it's finally done. Very big thank you to everyone who encouraged me and helped
me with tips on the wall. Also to all the people who kept asking me when I would be making a wall >_< helped alot
to motivate me <3
I hope everyone enjoys and to the Kuro crazed fans who feel the need to hate on it and show your "opinion" on
him being with Sebby only, don't cause well I don't care about your thoughts on who he should be with
it's really not that serious.
It's an artwork, so take it easy and keep your panties knot free :3

The final result of this is fantastic. Some minor things I don't 100% like... the brighter highlights on the bed skirt and her face, and I feel like there's something about the perspective that is off. But it's a very tender scene with the soft lighting, and I love the way the red brings out the girl. Also, creepy doll is creepy. 8d

this wall definitely has a better sense of lighting, but the whiteness in the corner still washes ciel's face and line art out. you might want to put his lineart on top and color it separately with an airbrush so it doesnt look so washed out. and second nysha about her face--i just think the shading and proportions are a tad off.
lol you ALREADY know what im going to say but... airbrushing >_<. its too intense esp on her bed sheets. they dont seem to follow or work with your shapes. the purpose of airbrushing is so that others dont know that you are airbrushing.great improvement with this piece and its a nice addition to the contest. i appreciate the simplicity of the background that doesnt look empty but doesnt leave room for unneeded details.

I LOVE that you combined all of those scans together! The lighting is superb, and the delicate sheer-curtains really enhance the atmosphere. I'm also glad that you added the wallpaper; even though it's a small section, that extra detail is beautiful.
