Ok..here it is!
This is for the "draw a MT member as you think of them from their userpage" thing.
A most arduous task to say the least. Anyway, after many starts and stops, I decided
on this. It's from a scan of Yomiko Readman (R.O.D.) for my friend FireFlyWishes.
I chose this because Yomiko is one of my favorite characters (if you've never seen
Read or Die, you should ASAP). She is smart, quirky attractive, resourceful and
sweet just to name a few of her qualities. Qualities I am reflecting by assumption
to my friend!
I am guessing on several issues: like I think she wears glasses and has black hair (I think I'll find out later if
I was right)
I drew a lot of things that I later removed...cutesy bean-based things, computers
and stuff but I thought it might be getting too crowded.
I bordred it in a color I hope she likes crossing fingers) and kept it near
monochrome for simplicity.
The kanji is the one for love which I hope is ample in her life no matter the form it takes.
I photoshopped the border, text and 'fireflies'.
the rest is drawn in pencil, sharpie and pen. Watercolor and watercolor paper is used
a little and it took about six hours. It looks better in my sketchbook but all my work does

Great work, Kokujin-san! I love those glasses and her eyes the most. And I love the fact that you photoshops your artwork. It gives a great final touchup to it. The grainy effect which the artwork gets due to your use of watercolour sheets gives attracts the viewer even more. Nice work. And thanks for sharing :)
