I've always wanted to do a sekirei wallpaper since I started watching it and finally, it is done! this is homura/kagari, a fire type sekirei. the lineart was vectored as well as her hair and clothing to some extent. Her skin however, was painted. the scan I used was from chapter 55 of the manga. The sekirei mark was also vectored but I used brush to edit the fill afterwards and added glow and other effects. I had no idea on what to do for the background, so I used the first idea that came to my mind, fire.Does it burn :P ?

as a vector this would have been great, the concept of the wallpaper lacks everything that a wallpaper should have : details, design, and well... usability.
it is unappealing, and quite definitely does the vector no justice.

lol this is so old school but i like it. a few minor color+detail complaints:
1) typography: the type is too uniform in the background and too big for it to look professional, is just kind of floats there.
2) the pink thing is the wrong color for this color scheme, its much too desaturated. try a hotter pinkk and shift it towards red. -
