One month and a half - and the approach of a new year. It took that long for me to upload this. Apparently, I went through a lot of somewhat good things through December last year and here I am, yet to have been hit by an asteroid or a zombie apocalypse. xD

Drawing in pencil is something good to return to every once in a while so here I am with one after almost a quarter or more of a year not doing so! This has been going on since November as I only did this image during breaks or intermissions within or between class hours. Only a few days ago did I start doing this at home for the sake of finishing it.

This is a scene of The Great Shrine City, the capital of high culture and zealous religion. I won't get into the details though - mostly because I never thought of any so it's up to the viewers to decide what gods are praised within these towering walls and spires. :P

This picture was completed yesterday, scanned, cleaned, and uploaded today, in preparation for... tomorrow! A few noteworthy things - it has a Dutch angle and a near-appearance of 3-point perspectives!

Oh, and because tomorrow is a day forsaken by the world, its infamy mentioned by no one, its name only punished when spoken. Tomorrow is... The Worst Day Ever. And this image, is dedicated to... The Worst Day Ever. Though, I'll leave you guys to find out why it's The Worst. 8d

I was supposed to rant about something but instead, let me introduce you to a bunch of friends!

Well, actually, nevermind those supply depots, this one is more appropriate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDjDFTjFfeU xP

Let me tell you that all your works are incredible, the handling of colors, contrasts, shapes it's simply delicious - sorry I will not pretend to know much about this, but the word is the most suitable - :P
There is nothing better to appreciate the art of the old school :) I have nothing against the vectors and digital coloring, but what happened with that time where you took paints to hand color a picture? What happened with the times where you amused correcting errors in drawings or in the shadings? This work is a delight to see. Congratulations! :)
(And sorry my english it's not very good)

Whoa this is breathtaking, a little hard to actually grasp at first. Some kind of gothic-fantasy world capital !

Really awesome work on the details, though i feel it's a bit too cramped and ruins the perspective a bit (so much for "Dutch angle and a near-appearance of 3-point perspectives", though it might be what that means ^_^').

Anyway, thumbs up, and a little Artanis quote to end the post "It's not Warcraft in space !"
