Title: Dark Angel
Anime/Manga: Naruto
Theme: A bound dark angel
For: My good friend Van/David for a X-mas Gift
Time: One week and four hours!
Used: Gimp 2.6
Why: I did this wallpaper for a friend of mine and also trying to do something new that is out of my normal range when it comes to wallpapers. I tried different renders of Hinata Hyuga but none of them seemed to fit in my mind the way I wanted them too! So I found this one of her kinda tied up and looking a bit sexy, but some wings on and it worked out! Looking like some bound dark angel! Then I went back and took some grunge brushes and stuck to the colors of black and purples to fit into the them and it turned out nicely.
One of the harder things was the wings, I had to render them a lot and play out
different filters and colors to make them work out. I sort of faded them in and out just a bit and used the Quick sketch
filter in Gimp with the Cartoon one as a add on and Softglow to get them to look as they do right now. Along with a few
brushes on the edges and smudge.
This wallpaper turned out to be 12 layers in all...thats a lot for me!
