Minitokyo sure has changed a lot. I haven't been around for a while and when I got back everything here had changed. ^^°
Thought I might just try to finish and submit a wallpaper before the year's over, so here you are.
I used this scan, I'm pretty sure it's drawn by Ishuria (saw it on her website + the style matches) so I went ahead and tagged the scan too. My inspration was a fairy tale, Snow-white actually. I enjoy reading fairy tales once in a while and the beginning of the story inspired me to make this wallpaper (I had been eyeing the scan for a while though). For those who don't know the Grimm's version, in the beginning a childless queen pricks her finger on a needle while sewing by the window, her blood falls onto the snow and she wishes for a child with skin as white as the snow, lips as red as the blood and hair as black as the window frame's wood.
The scan was vectored, I added some kind of background and a load of textures and patterns. My resources are: Fabricpattern.net & Hybrid Genesis for the patterns and Bashcorpo & Princess of Shadows for the textures.

Erdbeermilch is back with this Snow White-inspired wall! I love the way she turned a watercolour-style scan into something so clean and neat. Great use of patterns, and I love the colour scheme and the way they blend so well together. Awesome work!

yay another wallpaper from you! I love the colour scheme, kind of reminds me of mint, and the patterns on the wall ^^ I love the original Snow White story, so much darker, not the tamed down Disney version...

Oh my gosh you are just so talented im amazed. To make a vector out of that water color looking scan and turn it into this..O.O wow. Im such an fan of your walls and your textures and patterns on the vectors look awesome and make it look so real looking like its a cover of some really pretty anime show artbook. I love how you used them to, so creative and your vectors are so amazing so neat and clean and your use of colors and color choices im like in wow. I love this so much its so creative and so pretty..*smiles*.
