Aww, she's so happy and bright.
I would've like to have seen more shine on her hair
and shadows on her skin, also the wings shadow on her staff look too light
as well. Other than that, nice job.

I wanted to enter this in Vector-Wallers New Year
Resolution wallpaper contest.. My resolutions in this wallpaper:
1. The use of bright colors and the color I've never used before - yellow. Well, I did use the color once as a BG
with a stock photo but never as a main color. and so here it is- yellow as a main color.
2. I also wanted to improve on my painting skills. I also wanted to bridge painting and vectoring techniques in here.
3. I'll create more clamp wallpapers or if not, wallpapers from scans that have a feel similar to this one. Because
there are different types of scans, there are those that are anime-ish and those manga-ish like this one's scan. So
I think I'll go for colored scans that are manga-ish.
4. Another resolution in here is the use of clouds. Most of my walls are scenic, if not scenic, starry night. I never
did this kind of BG before. This is the first time I've used it.
I did this wallpaper right after I finished submitting my other CCS wallpaper. The title came from the OP song of CCS. I used this scan.
I first rotated the scan and find the angle that I wanted before I started my work. I enjoyed doing the lineart of it although I had to admit, I had a hard time with the lineart of the curls in Sakura's dress.
I enjoyed the coloring part especially the dress and the hair. Some parts of the scan are vectored while othes are painted.
At first I wanted to go for a vectored BG -you know the typical catoonish cumulus clouds and I also wanted to retain the original BG of the scan ( but it won't be unique and creative that way right?),also when I did it it doesn't feel right and so I used some brushes and made the clouds myself.
It took me 4 or 5 days to finish this wallpaper. I finished it last 12/21 but wasnt able to submit it right away because
I haven't got the time to go online and also there is no connection . It has a total of 78 layers in all.

Oh wow I think you did an awesome job doing something different with bright colors and painting im like in wow O.O. I love how you did sakura, the shadows and blending looks great and everything looks so smooth and the background looks pretty to you did a great job on the clouds. I really love this..*smiles*.

Another cute ccs wallie. I like how you vector Sakura + the coloring too,
the shadings are soft and the brightness is a-ok. Though i found the bg
kinda off, coz of its blurriness + lack of some details. I prefer if ya also
vectored the original scan's bg or just vectored the clouds. But overall
great job on the vector. +fav! ^^, -
