Prolly the quickest I've finished a wallpaper in a looong time. I finished the lineart, had to go out of town, then came back and painted it all in about 3 days.
Here's a few screenies of my process... nothing fancy.

Basically I vectored Sou and Ai, did some basic vectoring then painted the rest. The windows are vectored with the design at the top inner bevelled. I outlined the irises and then painted them, which was the most drawn out and irritating part. As a final touch, I added the glowey-spots like in the original scan.
I should explain the title. I was practically finished with this and realized I had nooo title. So I scrolled through my handy-dandy list of potential titles and found "The Sound of an Iris Freezing and Melting", which is a Spiral episode title. I thought it just fit 'cause... 'cause... *points to wallie* Hellloooo!
I'm rather proud of this, I think it's one of my best.
