WoW! The color scheme is pretty unusual. It's not "strange" persay but is unique. Everything is a similar hue but not so similar that the individual objects get lost. That greenish? (sorry, colorblind XP ) color of the sky and the water has a nice passive feeling but is very earthy. The entire piece feels very organic which is very cool. The scan was a very nice choice as well. The rays from the lighthouse are a nice touch. What I think I like the most are those ghost rubber duckies! When I saw those I started to bust up laughing cause they are so cool! Seriously! I would never have thought to use them in that manner. Very creative!! :nya:

Another one of my favourites. I love the way the light shines down on the girl and the sea. An excellent work on the scythe as well. I'd always liked scythes. Did you know that the kanji you used is reflected? Like in a mirror or something. I'm not japanese but I am chinese and the words of these two languages are sometimes alike. I think it means "Grass of Forgetfulness" or something.

The girl and her scythe look awesome...but that's not the best part of this wallpaper. The water is amazing and so is the sky...but those aren't the best parts of this wallpaper either. No, that honor goes to the lighthouse. That lighthouse is sweet...especially the light beams coming from it. Beautiful wallpaper.
